How do I enter and exit the Sydney Airport car park?
If you have pre-booked online, scan the QR code on your booking confirmation email; alternatively insert or tap the nominated credit card to activate your booking. If you drive up, just take a ticket at the gate. To exit the car park, follow signs to the exit and insert your ticket at the gate.

The Express Pick-up zones are dedicated parking areas near the International and Domestic terminals, designed to make it easy to pick up passengers from the airport. Drive up on the day and park for free at the Express Pick-up zones for up to 15 minutes once per calendar day.
What is the best way to pick someone up at the airport?
Using the Express Pick-up zones is a quick and convenient way to pick up passengers from Sydney Airport. To minimise waiting time, it’s a good idea to have your passenger let you know when they’re waiting in the Express Pick-up zone before driving up.
When should I arrive to pick someone up from the airport?
As a general rule, arrive 30 minutes after their flight is scheduled to land. It may take some time to get off the plane, collect baggage and make their way through the airport to the Express Pick-up zone. You may want to have your passenger call you when they’re ready to be picked up to minimise waiting time.
Is there free parking at Sydney Airport?
Yes. Free parking is available in the Express Pick-up zone. Simply drive up on the day and stay free for one entry per calendar day, up to 15 minutes. You can also park free for up to an hour at the Blu Emu car park. Free shuttle buses run from the Blu Emu car park to the T2 and T3 Domestic terminals every 15 minutes from 3:30am to midnight (every 30 minutes between midnight and 3:30am).
